The London Plan, a strategic initiative of the Mayor of London, has identified the area around Holloway Road and Islington as one of London’s top 35 areas to receive additional funding to help them thrive.
Holloway Road tube station sits right on Holloway Road, and less than 100 metres from Electric Works N7. Holloway Road is on the Piccadilly Line (the purple one). Head south from Holloway and you have an easy route into the West End, West London, and as far as Heathrow Airport.
If you travel north, you can reach Finsbury Park, Wood Green, and more throughout North London and Middlesex.
Drayton Park, served by Southern Railway, is only a ten-minute walk from Electric Works, and from here you have easy access to the City via Old Street and Moorgate, or north as far as Cambridge and King’s Lynn.
There are also a number of bus routes to get you around too, and you can always drive. Holloway Road is the A1, one of London’s arteries.

There are several lovely parks and green spaces within a few minutes’ walk of Holloway and Electric Works N7.
The nearest is Paradise Park, only eight minutes away, which features football pitches and spring wildflowers. Across the street is St Mary Magdalene Garden, on the grounds of St Mary Magdalene Church. This could make for an ideal quiet escape away from the children’s playgrounds of Paradise Park.
Highbury Fields is only 13 minutes from the office. This is the place for you if you are feeling more active. The recreation ground, bordered by trees around Highbury Crescent, is home to Highbury Leisure Centre and Highbury Fields Parkrun.
West of Highbury Fields is Caledonian Park, close to Caledonian Road station (also on the Piccadilly Line). This urban oasis is another open green space surrounded by trees. The park is only a 15 minute walk from Electric Works N7.
Gillespie Park is a 16 min walk from Electric Works N7, just the other side of the impressive Emirates Stadium. This park is home to a stone circle and an ecology centre, and Arsenal tube station is right outside.

The Spoke, on Holloway Road, is a favourite stop of cyclists, and has an all-day brunch menu. Also on Holloway Road is the cheese and wine bar Provisions, where you can nibble and sip to your heart’s delight.
