That Wing Place on Holloway Road tries to do one thing really well, and succeeds!

With a menu centred on chicken wing perfection (and the odd chicken burger), That Wing Place is an ideal destination for lovers of the American culinary delight which is fried chicken, and the crunchy, sweet and spicy perfection of Korean food.

They also love to pair fried chicken with the perfect beer, known as Korean Chimaek.

How to get there

That Wing Place is only five-minute’s walk from Electric Works N7, making it a perfect lunchtime destination. You don’t need to miss out if you are too busy to visit in person, they are also on all the popular delivery apps.

Simply turn right onto Horney Street out of Electric Works, and turn right on to Holloway Road. That Wing Place is only 200 metres down the road, opposite the Jamie Oliver Cooking School.

Amor Gastronomy

Amor Gastronomy is less than a ten-minute walk from Electric Works. Leaving Electric Works, turn right onto Horney Street, and turn right again on to Holloway Road. Head straight down Holloway Road about 400 metres.

The restaurant is right next to the traffic lights and crossing and opposite the North London Buddhist Centre.

Le Péché Mignon

Cross the road, and turn left onto Ronalds Road, which is immediately after the Shell Garage. Le Péché Mignon is at number 6, almost at the corner with Horsell Road.

El Rincon

Mesi's Kitchen

From Electric Works NZ, head toward Holloway Road and turn right. Cross the street and keep walking until you cross over Drayton Park. Mesi’s Kitchen will be just ahead, and the restaurant is directly opposite Palmer Place.

Sambal Shiok

Featured in the Guardian, Sambal Shiok is the pride of Mandy Yin, who founded the restaurant in 2013. Mandy is also the author of Sambal Shiok: The Malaysian Cookbook. Time Out also rated it one of London’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2023 – high praise for a city of endless choice.

How to get there

Sambal Shiok is in a prime position on Holloway Road, opposite the Shell Garage, making it easy to find. To get there from the office head toward Holloway Road by turning right on to Hornsey Road, or left onto Eden Grove, depending on where you exit Electric Works N7.

Turn right on to Holloway Road and walk about five minutes. Look for the Shell Garage and Sambal Shiok will be right across the street.
